I have trouble every year carving pumpkins, because I always end up carving the same not so scary face. But, Martha has inspired, yet again.

I always have so many ideas that I can never decide on one Halloween costume. I come up with these fun crazy costumes but end up last minute being something lame because I’ve run out of time. So here are some cool pre-packaged costumes to those who have too little time to make one.

We didn’t get many gifts for our wedding, but what we did get was amazing. My best friend sent us the Personalized Birch Dessert Set from Jessic Rust Designs. We didn’t register for it, however it matched everything we had registered for. Check her out here, her stuff is really cool.
We have this set here, but inside the heart it says T + J 09

I’m sure many of you have already stumbled onto the awesomeness that is Sophie Uliano, but I must enlighten the rest. Sophie manages to give you realistic and practical advise for greening your home, body and diet. It was a definite eye opener for me. Some things we don’t think about, like packaging, even on eco-friendly products and chemicals in everyday products. It’s defiantly a good read.

I can’t get enough of the new season of Mad Men. Not only is it exceptionally well written and compelling, but it also serves as retro eye candy perfection. If you’re in the Mad Men mood, check these goodies out.

Joan Dress from ModCloth.com

An amazing book, that makes fingerwaves and pincurls look easy. Check it out here.

No episode of Mad Med is complete without a cocktail. Check out this retro shaker at TheFind.com.
Between an upcoming wedding, starting cosmotology school and a part time job, I have totally neglected my blog. But let me catch everyone up as quickly as possible.
I’m now officially a newlywed. We got married on Las Vegas at the Little Church of the West and had our reception at Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Hotel. It was amazing! We ordered a cupcake tower and mini cake from Retro Bakery, not only did they look tasty but they were hands down the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. We got Vanilla on Vanilla and Peanut Butter Cup….yummm. Our photographers, Matt and Amanda Nistor did a fabulous job. I couldn’t be happier.
Here are some pics from our wedding and there is more to come on the blogging front.
