Though Halloween has to be my favorite holiday of the year, I always ending up srapping a costume up. My house has been decorated for a month and still no costume. I figure if worse comes to worse I can Sarah Palin it, but that will seriously be a last resort. I’ve already seen about ten drag queens with the exact same costume.

I found this site that gives retro hair tutorials. I have this new thing were I tease my hair everyday and give myself a cat eye, even if I’m still in my P.J.’s. I like to think of it as more Sofia Loren than Amy Winehouse, but think what you will. I have also become addicted to Fallout 3 and it, interestingly enough, has women characters with really cute finger waves.

We were trying to figure out a cool way to do Save The Dates and came acroos this tutorial at DigitalArts! 
Haha We don’t plan on sending out Save the Dates that having us looking horrified, but we are going to work wit the style. I did a bit of browsing and I found that Movie poster invites and Save the Dates are somewhat popular.

Here is the venue my finace and I chose. We live in San Francisco but my parents wanted us to get married closer to them. Thus Paradise Gardens! We heard about it through a friend of a friend and it ended up being amazing! We loved the lights in the trees, the waterfall and the cabana band shell.

How effing cute are these! I’m going to uses my super rad neon food dye to make them green and glow-in-the-darky. I found it on Martha’s Website
To decorate, use a medium round tip (or a plastic bag with the tip cut off) to pipe a mound of buttercream in the center of cupcake, then outline and pipe a brain design over it.

Here is a cute table cloth cover from The AntiCraft. It calls for a plain black vinyl table cloth so this will last you more than one Halloween, so therefore I feel it’s a good project.
