Birdcage Veil Mania
One thing is for sure, I want a birdcage veil. I have been searching far and wide and have found a couple of bitchin’ styles.
This style is by far my favorite. This veil, pictured above is from Etsy seller, Porobello. She has a bunch of really cute stuff.
There are similar styles from Something Bold, Birdcage Veils, Mikiye from Etsy and Unveiled Bridal Designs (OMG amazing!)
Most likely I will make my own. I found a tutorial here! Enjoy!!!!

Huma Huma Hula
One of Hawaii’s downfalls is that they don’t embrace the full awesomeness of memrobelia fromt he 50’s and 60’s. I’ve been on the hunt for a classic dashboard hula girl and after days of beginning to think they all were gobbled up in one giant polyester fire, I came across a stunning fact. Dashboard Hula Girls in the 50’s and 60’s were called “nodders”. So I searched and found a bunch of stuff!!! I have there Ebay link here.
I plan to use this a decoration some how at my wedding. I was thinking on the candy bar or something…I’m not quite sure yet.
It’s all I think about….Sewing

Too Yummy Not To Obsess About
I was browsing and found these. I’ve been drooling over these for days now. I figured I can wait until Thanksgiving to make them. Otherwise I might just end up makeing them for dinner the next two weeks.

Debating the Garter
I have a huge problem with the garter toss. I don’t know why, I feel that it’s awkward. But I started thinking that maybe I’ll just wear one and keep it a secret, cause they’re so sexy. Not to mention I found the cutest garters ever from Piper Ewan over at Etsy. I think I have a problem mostly with lace, so this one is nice and simple. I also included an old photo of some lady with a really cute garter. I think I could make that. I’ll keep everyone posted.
D.I.Y.: Christmas Crap!
I hate how thanksgiving gets passed over for Christmas. It’s like it doesn’t exist. However, my selection of Christmas decorations is in need of a serious overhaul. It consists of, basically, anything anyone didn’t want and gave to me. So, I decided, I’m starting over. I’m going to keep the stuff I really like and donate the rest to goodwill. This brings me to Amy Butler Design. She has adorable accents that can really pull your Christmas decor together.
